Janet was born to Tuffy & Rosalie Askin in Ekalaka Montana February 14,1949. She graduated from Western High School in 1967 and married John Hawes on January 9, 1987. A gentle and loving spirit, Janet was known for her candor, integrity and compassion. She was a loving mother, and grandmother who was happiest holding her babies. A loyal wife who was always present and giving no matter the personal sacrifice.Janet brought new mening to the term blended family, mother/stepmother to 2 sons and 3 daughters, grandmother to 8 grandsons, and 8 granddaughters, great-grandmother to 3 great-grandsons, and 2 great-granddaughters. She is loved and respected by each and everyone no matter the family back ground or blood line.
